Ripple's coming of age feature MOON DOGS will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 1st September. With up and coming Celtic talent, MOON DOGS stars Irish actress and singer-songwriter Tara Lee (A Date for Mad Mary, The Fall), Welsh actor Jack Parry-Jones (Da Vinci’s Demons, Back to Zero) and Scottish actor and musician Christy O’Donnell (Clique). Anton Newcombe of Brian Jonestown Massacre composed the original soundtrack. MOON DOGS is directed by multi BAFTA nominated, multi-award-winning director / screenwriter from South Wales Philip John, written by Derek Boyle and Raymond Friel, produced by Kathy Speirs and Co-Produced by Suzanne Reid, Dominic Wright and Jacqueline Kerrin with the support of Creative Scotland, Ffilm Cymru Wales and the Irish Film Board/Bord Scannán na hÉireann.
Winner of Best International First Feature at Galway Film Fleadh 2016, and BAFTA Scotland nominated, BIFA longlisted, and selected as Best of the Fest at Edinburgh International Film Festival 2016.
