On Saturday 1st August shooting wrapped on LITTLE GREY FERGIE, Ripple World Pictures' series of 3 Norwegian children's films. The co-production with Silje Hopland Eik and Dyveke Graver of Norwegian production company Cinenord Kidstory AS filmed at Ashford Studios near Dublin for twelve weeks over the summer.
The films are based on the 25 year-old and hugely popular 'Little Grey Fergie' brand owned by Fantasi-Fabrikken AS, and directed by Peder Hamdahl Naess working with an almost entirely Irish crew, including Director of Photography Michael Lavelle. All picture and sound post production and VFX will take place at EGG Post Production in Dublin.
LITTLE GREY FERGIE is funded by Norwegian Film Institute, VestNorsk Filmcentre, FilmKraft, MEDIA Creative Europe, Fond for Lyd Og Bilde, Nordic Film & TV Fund, and the Irish Producer tax credit.
The first of the 3 films is set for release in Norway in Q1 2016.
International sales are handled by Montreal based Attraction Distribution.
