Ripple World's sci-fi romance EARTHBOUND was awarded the Best First Irish Feature at the Galway Film Fleadh jointly with Irish film 'Citadel' at the closing night awards ceremony, 15th July. Writer-Director Alan Brennan, Producer Heidi Karin Madsen of Paper Dreams and Executive Producers Jacqueline Kerrin and Dominic Wright of Ripple World Pictures were there to receive the award. The film had it's first Irish audience on Friday 13th July, with plenty of laughs and a standing ovation for the geeky but lovable hero Joe Norman, played by Rafe Spall (Prometheus), and his human companion Maria, played by Jenn Murray (Dorothy Mills), who attended the screening.
