Never Grow Old - Western (Film) Completion 2018.

John Cusack has joined Ripple World Pictures’ western NEVER GROW OLD, launched by sales agent Metro International Entertainment at the AFM. Directed by Ivan Kavanagh (The Canal), production began in Luxembourg on 6th November and has just begun shooting in Ireland.

John Cusack (Love and Mercy) co-stars as the malevolent villain, Dutch Albert, with Emile Hirsch (Lone Survivor) in the lead as the reluctant hero Patrick Tate.

An original screenplay written by Ivan Kavanagh, NEVER GROW OLD was developed by Ripple with the assistance of Creative Europe and the Irish Film Board who also provided production finance to the project. When a ruthless gang of outlaws terrorise a sleepy frontier town, the local undertaker Patrick faces a profound moral dilemma. He plays a dangerous game providing for his family as he profits in the wake of the violence sweeping the once peaceful God-fearing community. As the death toll rises and without religion or the law to turn to, Patrick must find a way to defeat the outlaws as they turn their brutal attention on his family.

NEVER GROW OLD is produced by Jacqueline Kerrin and Dominic Wright of Ripple, with Co-Producers Marie-Claire Kerrin for Ripple, Nicolas Steil of the Iris Group and Jean-Michel Rey of Rezo Productions. Cofiloisirs are providing cashflow. The film is further supported by Quickfire Films, the Luxembourg Film Fund and Eurimages, and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland.
